Here’s a little information on what happened with me during my first 18 months.
When I was in a well known, International Network Marketing Company that marketed weight loss & nutritional products for 5 years when I began looking at our Natural Wax Candle Company & Business.
At the time I was looking for a change that featured -
- a fun, simple consumable product, that people could see the benefits from within minutes.
- A product I could help those I sponsor put cash in their pocket daily
- a company that had a Unilevel Compensation Plan.
- an auto-order, or autoship less than $100 a month (that was an amount I felt most people would be comfortable with as a monthly product investment)
- a pay plan where the company paid the distributors a good residual commission to business builders (team builders)
Those were my primary criteria.
Back then the company was less than a year old and they only had candles and back then they only came in 16 oz jars, and votive candles. So, I signed up with 2 cases (24) 16 oz candles, and 6 dozen votive candles. (Today it people select a Business Builder Pack with an assortment of our different products, or product lines.)
On the same day I signed up, and BEFORE my products arrived, I began making out a list of the people I knew…everyone, and began checking off those who lived within driving distance from my home. I chose a date for my Business Grand Opening Launch.
The following day I began calling those people nearby and inviting them to attend my business launch in my home, that was about 10 days away.
At that business launch I had about 30 guests in attendance. There were many people who had a schedule conflict and could not attend, so I invited those people two my 2nd business launch event that was exactly 7 days after the first event.
I earned around $800 in immediate profit by retailing the candles, and sponsored one new business partner.
This gave me confidence that I was on the right track, and I began gaining reorders and referrals from the customers at those first two events.
As I contunued to build a local customer base & team, I began working with my sponsor on a solid plan to take my business online and start building a team throughout North America.
12 months later I had a team of around 425 distributors, was earning a nice supplemental montly residual income check, and set a goal to be earning a full time residual income check by the end of the following 6 months.
6 months later, in October 2004 I qualified as a Director (the 3rd in the company) and was earning a comfortable residual income that paid for my rent, my car expenses, food, clothing, everything!
I was very careful though not to quit my day-job, for almost another year to ensure I was secure and my team was continuing to grow.
Fast forward, it did continue to grow. My passion from the time of my business launch has been to pay if forward, and attract the right people who are interested in our company, products, or business and help those who want a business to achieve their goals.
I am a servant leader, someone who believes that anyone who wants something more out of life …whether it’s extra income, security of having another income stream, retirement income, or time & financial freedom…my passion and purpose is helping those who our business & industry is right for, and who are READY, to achieve their goals.
My current team consists of a few thousand distribtors. I don’t consider this to be a large team, and in no way is my work finished. It’s only just begun.
If something like this is what your interested in, the thing you must understand about team building is that your job is to get the ball rolling.
You will be continually inviting people to look at your business (those who express an interest in it for themselves, or who may want to help you by referring others to you), helping them to get started with our training system, being there for them as their coach, and helping them to do the same.
Along the way, the majority of people thoughout your organization will be interested in using the products, because they love them, and earning a part time income through retail.
A smaller percentage will be interested and willing to take the action to go on to build a big business, and sponsor, train, and teach others.
You do NOT do it all by your self. Your success will be made up first of a few people, then a few hundred, that then can grow into the thousands.
Understand I am not making guarantees. I am not, and can not.
I don’t know what you are willing to do, how consistent you are, how long you will put forth effort. I don’t know the people you know, the people you will meet along the way.
Neither you, nor I know the people your team members will know, those they will meet in the future and how committed they will be to take action over a period of time.
But, I do know that if you want something different, you must be willing and committed to DO something different, in order to expereince that which you desire.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

We will want to have you continue to grow your business by introducing your business to two people you know each day.
This can be done in person, or by having them watch our Online Video Presentation. I will teach you how to do this, and support you with three way calls, and group presentations with your guests.
